Environmental protection and drive towards continuous improvement of our environmental performance is essential to achieve PDO’s goal of no harm to environment.
As we all know - simple, clear and specific procedures drive sustainable environmental improvement at all levels of organization.  Towards that vision, MSE 2 team has developed the Specification for Environmental Management.

    

This new specification consolidates and replaces four existing environmental specification and aims to provide starting point towards understanding and managing environmental risks in new projects and existing assets.
The specification is sub-divided into nine individual sections, each focusing on different environmental risk areas.    Each of the nine sections lists mandatory requirements and organizational accountabilities to mitigate and manage those risks.

Updated Specification:

The new "Specification for Environmental Management" defines mandatory company level requirements and accountabilities to mitigate and manage environmental risks. The new specification can be accessed via following link

Need for Change:

In line with corporate strategy of simplification, this specification consolidates and replaces four existing specifications (SP-1005, SP-1006, SP-1007 and SP-1009).  The specification contains nine sections; and each section is limited to one page for clarity.
